Bring your End-Users to this talk, as we take a lap around the collaboration opportunities that exist when we combine SharePoint, the Office suite, and Office 365. While teams will often choose SharePoint and Office as their tools of choice, they many times underutilize certain features and integration points that they don’t realize are there. With each iteration of these toolsets, Microsoft continues to enhance the end-user capabilities of the products, and expand the many types of tasks for which the products are useful.
In this talk, we’ll take a look at the main Office products with the strongest SharePoint integration – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote. We’ll also explore ways to empower end-users through connections to external business data, and maximizing usage of intranet portals. Finally, we’ll explore many of the very new features being added to Office365 to augment the collaboration experience for the end-user.
